Telephone Socket Almost Cost Me My Job

... saw a month ago pinup girls and electrical sockets go hand in handYesterday I almost lost my job because of my telephone socket. My problems started very early in the morning. I got a call from my boss who asked me to go online immediately because he said that there are major changes in one of our projects. I work as an online graphics designer and to date, I am working on five new campaign ads. All of them were due yesterday and I had 10 other projects that needed some tweaking. So I jumped out of bed at six am (yes, my boss calls me this early) , grab a coffee, grab some bread, and went straight to my home office which is just adjacent to my bedroom.

First thing I do is grab my documents, all four boxes of them and arrange them neatly side by side so that it would be easier for me to work. I sorted them out by priority and made some notes on some of my sketches and rough drafts. Satisfied that everything was ready, I turned on my desktop and waited for my desktop to boot up. Once it was all powered up, I waited for my internet to kick in so I can start working. However, after about five minutes, I knew I was in trouble, I had no internet connection!

I scrambled to check what the problem was and the first thing that I did was to check all the wires and cables. I checked the electrical sockets, wall socket and every other socket and connection in the room. I was already panicking at this point because my boss was calling me nonstop. He was already very mad. Finally I decided to check on my telephone socket again and I noticed that there was some kind of dust in the socket. I brushed it away and connected the cables again. Thank goodness my internet connection finally worked!

If I Pass My Classes I Get a New Receiver

My mom said she will reward me with a new Onkyo TX-NR709 receiver if I can pass all my classes this term. I normally really struggle with doing well in school. It’s not that school is too difficult it’s just that I find myself getting really bored. My mom has been really concerned about my grades and she asked me if there was anything she could do to help. I told her that if she would be open to giving me some sort of reward I was pretty sure I could improve. When she asked me what kind of reward I wanted, I told her a new Onkyo receiver would be perfect. Fortunately my mom has lots of money so she can afford it without a problem. In her mind, buying this new receiver is still quite a bit cheaper than hiring a personal tutor. So in this case it will be a win-win for both of us.

We Were Spending a Fortune on Replacement Toner Cartridges

I needed to find a place that had good discounts on Toner Cartridges. I was paying too much for toner every month for the five laser printers we use here at my small office. Whether you’re into home cinema, gaming, or great music this year’s Denon A/V receivers are well worth a look.

Even though I’m not into gaming or that much into movies, I really like recent generations of receivers. Although not new this year, the Audyssey automatic equalization features really enhance the listening experience.
